Ch. 4 -- Richmond-Llandovery

1957

Created by Peter 11 years ago
Though trained in book-keeping, this is not how Luke began his new career in the country, he was hired firstly to be a rum distillery technician at Llandovery, a smaller sugar estate on the coastal highway not too far from Runaway Bay and the little hillside village where his mother and siblings were still living All four of Luke and Beryl's children were sent to Columbus Prep School and when Elizabeth even went on to Columbus High School, both institutions then owned and operated by a Catholic order of nuns, in association with the nearby Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Faith
